Why didn’t Davey challenge that?

He waited too long and then they wouldn't let him.  Typical.

FP said the Nats took too long and lost the challenge.

He was probably asking the replay guys in the clubhouse and they couldn't figure out what the hell dave was talking about.

Can we agree that’s Martinez’s fault? It’s the 7th inning, close play and night and high leverage situation. What do you need to wait on?

Can we agree that Matt Adam's should be able to field a ground ball and tag a base runner?

Thanks fan.

Run scores if he catches that. It did anyway, but we didn’t know that at the time.

I’m sure the fan wasn’t making that calculation though, lol

I don’t know if it was beyond 30 seconds or not. So it could or not be Dave’s fault. Knowing the Nats they probably took too long.

What does that have to do with not challenging?

The Nats should’ve covered this situation in their cabbage practice.

What would have been the result of that challenge?  Out because he stepped on the ball?

Dozier picked up the ball and tagged his ankle.
