According to my calculations, since the Nats bullpen should have 3 innings of work today, we need to score 9 runs in the next 6 innings to have a chance at winning this one.  Yeah that ain't happenin'.  See you guys in a future cartoon.

Why do you even watch this team?

Idiots are idiots.  If there's one thing in baseball Parra's good at, it's throwing.

Max needed that for the pitch count.  Sorry DC Fan, I haven't given up yet.

That was a long throw though and he was off balance after running circles.  Not a bad risk with two outs to me.

Plus it helped that the runner tagged himself out.

I suppose we shall disagree, then.  Parra has one of the best outfield arms in the league, and the runner was a catcher.

Parra is in his 30’s. You can’t live off your rep forever, not in sports. (For most)

He will tail off offensively soon and then Slate will be asking why he is on the roster.   :hysterical:

Did Alfaro look like a dude who should be trying to go tag-2?

Well, if you keep earning the rep...

He beat the throw and was only out because he overslid the bag.

Get this last guy out and pitch count starting to look better.  Now get the freakin' offence going.  This isn't 1995 Greg Maddux, it's 2019 Jose Urena.
