I'm not surprised the umpire wanted to make a scene and refuse help. Was that the last of Davey in a Nats uniform?

Probably not but who knows...

Nats are about to be 12 games under .500

They might lose 100 games this season, it's very possible.

Imagine losing 100 games with Strasburg, Scherzer, Corbin, 2 super rookies, a star shortstop, a superstar 3rd baseman, 2 big free agent catchers, a former 42 homer slugger 2nd baseman and the 5th best bullpen in baseball.  Inconceivable.

That can't be right. Gameday shows the Nats got a hit with a runner in scoring position.

It actually is. I don't think they will lose 100 games, but that it's even a consideration 50 games in is almost unheard of in a team with this much talent.

Why does it even matter? The bullpen is giving it right back.

This is true, there are very few games that you're comfortable knowing they can win.  Even up by 5 in the 7th inning.
And even if it's a blowout, you know they're going to lost tomorrow.

Makes no sense that defense can ask for appeal on check swing but offense cannot appeal a called swing

I just threw up in my mouth thinking about what the Nats record would be if we hadn't picked up Parra.  Sad.  Oh and there goes the ball game again, it's just absolute insanity.  This is the 3rd late inning lead we've had out of the 4 games (maybe 4, can't remember) and we lost all 4 games.
