I didn't think it could be caught either. That ball was crushed. But FP seems to have convinced some that it was catchable.

How does FP feel about that one?

I admire all of you that post in these threads every single night. I listen to every game, but I can't bring myself to sit and type about such a horrendous team. I commend each of you.

Maybe we can all meet at a game when we get out of the institution   ....   like in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".

...  and?   There were two fielders within 4 feet.

Apparently those over the wall catches we've been seeing over the years are a figment of our imagination

You honestly don’t think MAT would have had a chance at that ball?

Doolittle looks like he had the whole team on his shoulders and could not carry it any longer

MAT would have time to eat a ham sandwich before it landed in his glove...

Nope. He would have been positioned where Robles was and Robles is faster.

He was about to cry. He is broken hearted over what happened to Doolittle

No. But there's a case that with MAT in CF and Robles in LF, Robles has a better shot at making the play.

Doolittle on a championship-type team is a 7th/8th inning guy depending on when a key lefty is up. To think this clown is a real closer is nuts

Doolittle probably on his way to the IL

Bad back from carrying the team on it for the past two months.
