Wait, FP wants them to dive for that? Does he want them to break their necks?

I'm not sure what he was yammering about, but did you think Soto looked hurt?

The bullpen finally assimilated Doolittle. Four game sweep.

FP was calling for Doolittle to pitch the 8th and 9th and now he's saying you can't ask Doolittle to do it all by himself

Goes back to the ball in left center that should have been caught.

I thought he looked as if he knew he should've made the catch.......looked disgusted to me

This bullpen

Maybe we are all dead? We are in hell?

And this bullpen is our punishment?

Welp. Maybe this will keep Martinez from using Doolittle all the time.

So is this outfield miscue another example of poor managing ?  Not just the replacement aspect of MAT, but what about the miscommunication of Soto & Robles ?

What’s the point of having MAT if not to use as a defensive replacement to protect a late lead?

I admire all of you that post in these threads every single night. I listen to every game, but I can't bring myself to sit and type about such a horrendous team. I commend each of you.

Tired? I've lost track of when he pitched, mostly out of disinterest at the end of games.

No fair. I was just about to use that very rant. Well, we saw it coming. Hardly takes any foresight.

But here's another: have we noticed just how BAD Soto is in the outfield? Anything more challenging than an easy fly and it's 50-50.

Everything this team does wrong always bites them in the rear.

I didn't think it could be caught either. That ball was crushed. But FP seems to have convinced some that it was catchable.
