Harper said, "Let's go."    Papelbon went.

Never say "let's go" to someone that's aching to go - and has the high ground.

The guy is a grade-A douche but he was in the league over a decade without physically hitting a teammate. Bryce of all people made him do that. And he was teammates with Werth for years!

Soto is out of the lineup, so I'm very excited for him to pinch-hit tomorrow and then sit out 4 more days before they place him on the IL.

Matt Williams would still be staring off into space, unaware.

From a google search...see the bold below...

A back spasm is the involuntary contraction or tensing of the muscles in the lower back. The condition ranges from infrequent spasms with mild discomfort to chronic spasms with severe pain that makes it difficult to move. Back spasms can typically be treated effectively without surgery.

The primary factors in recovery time are the severity of the injury and the treatment approach. A very mild muscle pull can heal in just a few days when rested, but most muscle strains may take four to six weeks to heal, and a very severe muscle pull could take up to ten weeks.

I'm not surprised if that's how they operate.    That's not a critical observation.    It's business.

Wasn't that reported yesterday? I read that the MRI came back clean and it's just spasms.

I thought I heard the MRI thing on the post game show last night (not sure if it was TV or radio).    Don't remember the clean part.   Now he's in the hands of our training staff.       :rites:
