Washington sports venue are always going to attract out of town fans because like Florida, but dreareyer, everybody here is from somewhere else. Add in your bandwagon idiots and the profiteers there is often not a " home team advantage"

I still haven't recovered from the 2010 Opening Day fiasco.  Worst crowd, a John Lannan start, and an 11-1 loss.  And an hour and a half beforehand in line with drunk Phans because of the security gates.   

I came out to my car in the parking garage only to find a Philly fan pissing in a corner nearby. Those people are just not house trained.

In 2010 carnival barker Stan Kaston went north and unloaded tickets in the City of Push and Shove. It was a huge kick in the arse  to loyal Nats fans. There will be a large group of Pjilly fans there, especially those who have been in hiding the last 5 years, but it won't  be another 2010

So the Phillies get to see Harper at home 81 times this year including 3 games against Atlanta on their opening home stand.  The only reason they would want to bus down to see them play at Nats Park is to be complete meatheads again and "take over" the RF area, which seems to be what they are planning on.

1. Night game this time.
2. Unemployment is down. Fewer people with too much time on their hands.
3. Ticket sales increasing at CBP but it’s nothing like that timeframe. Decent tickets were only available then on the resale market and very expensive.

Plenty of Phillies fans in the DMV. You will see them.

I don't see them skipping the 4 and 5 starter.  Might save Corbin for that game if they want to send a lefty against Harper.  Maybe they skip the #5 and Max goes in the second game.
