Wait - he's moving a bit faster?  Since when does a finger stop you from moving?  Moving faster now is a significant step for a guy with a fractured finger?

Healing a bit faster might make more sense since now he can swing a bat?

I think they sneaked in a quick hip replacement surgery.

Rendon was coming back in a couple of days also wasn't he.  Now he's being given the last rites.

Our 1st baseman get hurt making basic, athletic plays.  Every time Zimm has to do something non-missionary style on the field, we are worried he is going to break, and now Adams can't dive without jamming his shoulder.

Might be easier to just track the healthy.

FWIW zuck notes Rendon is doing hitting and fielding drills.

Adams to the 10 day...

I know it's contrary to the logic of the business of baseball but these guys are a bunch of wusses.

I know it's not PC but these guys are a bunch of wusses.

I dont think it's that they're unwilling to play, I think that no one wants them at reduced capacity. With a 10 day IL instead of 15, it makes roster manipulation easier

I ninja'd my comment.    I know it all makes sense from a "baseball business" point but damn, we've played more hurt than some of the things I've seen lately.    Went to work everyday, etc.

It's really sad but I didn't recognize him.     Came back in the living room and thought it was Dozier.

At this rate we should economize and just set one up for everyone.

Really.    We keep usin' space at this rate, Chief'll need 10 grand to keep the site going.

Back spasms. Weird that they’re announcing this right away. Nats have always stayed silent on injuries until the end of the game.

Rosenthal threw 8 of 11 pitches for strikes for Harrisburg in his first rehab outing, he's scheduled to throw a BP at Nats park today.  The other three hit the mascot, the game announcer, and a person in an office building in downtown Harrisburg.
