Gio to Yankees on minor league deal. $3 million base salary if he makes major league club.
It seems weird that the best he can get is a minor league deal. He's still a top 50ish starting pitcher in the majors. You'd think he could be a #3 or 4 on a lot of crappy teams. Maybe he wanted a last chance on a contender.
