Rizzo has done a great job for the Nats and Doolittle has been a good closer but boy did Rizzo get taken in the Blake Treinen trade. Treinen had the lowest ERA for any pitcher who pitched more than 80 innings in the history of the game in 2018. Another player the Nats gave up in that trade was jesus Luzardo. He is the top A's prospect and at 20 years old is projected as a top of the rotation starter.

I don’t mind giving up Treinen. He needed a change of scenery. Luzardo hurts. There is still time to not make it a complete fleecing if, day, Doolittle closes out a World Series clinching game, but it’s not looking good.
