Nats signed Manny Quinn.

That's a well written article...

Have to wonder why Zimm goes in so early since he doesn't do anything anyway...maybe to help plan the pre-game spread?

He goes in early to make sure he is not in the lineup.

How to keep me from going to a spring training game?

Charge Major League prices just because it is the Red Sox who are coming from the West Coast and will  be bringing the b and c teams . That will do it

Kerzel reports:

Quote
Catcher Raudy Read was optioned to Triple-A Fresno, while right-hander James Bourque was optioned to Double-A Harrisburg. Five other players were reassigned to minor league camp: right-handers Ronald Peña and Wil Crowe, first baseman-outfielder José Marmolejos, catcher Tres Barrera and outfielder Chuck Taylor.

we took him in the AAA round, so we just have to give him an opportunity to play at our AAA level.

Kerzel reports:

Marmalejos is a frustrating prospect and is probably like the majority of guys.

Seems to hit well but will most likely never break through for whatever reason.

Wasn't he something like a 2-time minor league player of the year in our system?

one with less air resistance so he gains 2 MPH and one that has incredible gravitational pull to bring his pitches into the strike zone?

Astros TV guys saying that Rosenthal will challenge Doo for the closer job. Is anyone in the Nats organization thinking that?

Also apparently Doo is hurt and won't be on the OD roster? So maybe he does start as the closer?

The subtle dig at Harper during the intro was golden.
