My bet is Max Scherzer.
At one time maybe Zimmerman but too many incomplete years from injury.
Harper would have seemingly been a lock but he would rather see his name in the sidewalk there in LALA Land
Anyway I think Robert Fick and Wily Mo Pena can be scratch from consideration

tweaked the title to correct a typo.  My betting on the next statute was the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.  I forget which public law that one is.  A heavy-weight that got rid of acid rain and the ozone hole.  Americans with Disabilities Act may beat it out, the same way Mussina might beat out Schilling for the HoF.

It probably will end up being Ted Lerner.  Hard to argue with him not deserving one.

Ryan Zimmerman.  Case closed.  Lock this thread.

Zimm would be a Lock (Don) if he could have stayed healthy.  But his statue ( not to be confused with legislation) would too often end up being an empty pedestal with a " Statue sent out for repairs" sign in front of it.

I think the next statue should be Larry Walker for all he did for the franchise.

Angelos is the obvious answer if we could train the pigeons to poop on one spot.  Maybe put some rat-bait on it too, right around the crotch.

Oh wait, you are talking about replicas, not the living person.

Ask me in a couple of weeks when Harper makes his decision.

And I'm still salty about the decision to put Werth's name up there on the Wall of Honor with Frank Robinson and Frank Howard.

I felt that way when they did it, but werth is a pretty good symbol of the 2012-2017 run and that seems like a turning point for the team

werth should never have gone into the ring before Zimmerman.

Same here.

I made dinner, took the dog for a walk, and read War and Peace all while he was doing it. :D
