Think Kolko or Kerr could handle Johnny's spot easily enough. Wouldn't say the same about Phil Wood.

Nothing at all against the dude, but...

I can swear I have a memory from him doing radio voice infomercials in the late 60's.

Always thought of him as a sober Jim Brockmire.  A "voice" guy.  Little substance.

Enjoy your retirement, Johnny.  I didn't like you much, but I didn't hate you either...

He was a deejay on some big 50,000 watt stations in San Francisco, Cleveland and NYC. Not the top dog but in a pretty select group to make it to those radio powerhouses. Started in the early 60s I think.

He's basically the same dude who did this for That 70's Show:

Dan Kolko and Bo Porter are the new Nats Xtra hosts for 2019. Alex Chappell is the new on-field reporter.

Thank you to whoever decided not to give the gig to Morse.  Porter should be fantastic.

So Johnny used to be the backup PBP guy when Bob was off. Does that mean it's Kolko now?

That feels like a little more lively of a show.  Kolko has grown on me as his baseball knowledge has improved.

Agreed, I'm glad we get more of him now.

Plus, Bo could be manager in waiting. Booth to dugout isn't far.

Have no idea who that is. Did someone steal a vow from their family?

Kolko is both competent and annoying.  And the luckiest man in the world.

Mitlen's movie maven (the missus) sez she saw it and recommends it as well.      However, it is not part of our in house collection.     May get a used copy off ebay.
