Really don't want Kimbrel. He's on the verge of going bad just like Papelbon did. The signs have been there, really almost ever since he left the Braves. Accelerated last year, despite his "record." Every save was a nail biter with him putting runners on left and right.

Well, we don't know that they can/will/want to sign him right now. And if they do want to do that, that doesn't mean they intend to spend it somewhere else if he doesn't sign. I do stuff like that all the time in, on a much smaller scale, of course.
