Honestly, I dont think so. It's highly likely that whatever deal brings him back here will have an opt out. Likely an early one. They could roll another year with Harper in CF. Between him and Eaton's injury histories, Robles will be playing everyday by June
Maybe if it was the 300 million with lots of deferred money contract, they'd have thrown in some early opt outs. I don't see the Lerners guaranteeing 350+ million even if he's hurt/sucks and giving him the chance to opt out if he wins the next 2 mvps. They're going to want some potential reward for their risk.
