Since the games don't matter, would be nice to have some fun with the lineup. Or at least play guys who might benefit from the experience (Robles, one of the other catchers) rather than guys who should sit out the rest of the season so as not to wreck their bodies worse than needed (Eaton, Zimmerman) or players who won't be here next year (Wieters).
They are probably trying to field what they feel is their best lineup to get Scherzer another win to add to his CY resume.
