No game until Friday. The way they stretch these series out is ridiculous.

I think we may be heading towards the worst-rated ALCS game ever on Sunday night.  If that's when they play it, it is up against Pats-KC, so there will be no sets watching the ALCS in the home market.  Bums me out, because I know my brother will have the Pats on where I stay (couch in the living room).  I really would rather watch the Red Sox v. Astros.  Pats still have their division under control and a decent shot at the #2 seed even with a loss to KC.

I don't know how many f-bombs I threw at the TV last night during the 9th.  I could not understand why Kimbrel was throwing that breaking junk with a 3 run, then a 2 run lead. Worst thing to do is to put guys on at that stage.  It is worse than challenging a guy and giving up a fly (even if it might go out).

Also, Christian Vasquez and I want to thank the architects of Yankee Stadium for making right field both short and with a low wall.  Turned a pathetic pop into a game winning hit.  VENGEANCE FOR BUCKY F'NG DENT, with Aaron F'ng Boone managing! Didn't Dent throw out the first pitch.

Today was the scheduled date for game 5 of the NLDS so Friday was the earliest the NLCS could start.

That’s because the schedules are pre set. They don’t have to do it that way.

Of course they do. You think the logistics of setting up a MLB playoff game can be set up for the next day on the fly?

They didn’t always do it that way. People can adjust.

Uh. Not the next day. They could have started today. It’s been done in the past. They already had a potential game in the prior series scheduled.

Uh. Not the next day. They could have started today. It’s been down in the past.

When people wore suits to afternoon weekday World Series games.

Quite possibly.

I recently drove a rental Chevy Equinox and felt like I could have been in one of their commercials. Bought some skinny jeans in case they call.

Brewers starting Gio THE CHOKER Gonzalez in Game 1.

Guess they’re just happy to be in the NLCS.

I mean, he did shut down the Dodgers for four innings in his last playoff start. He broke down in the 5th. That's really all they need from him.

He’ll find a way to meltdown in 4 IP or less. DefCon5 nuclear meltdown.

Personally, I hope the Dodgers hammer him mercilessly.

The fate of Wisconsin's cardiovascular health rests on Gio's shoulders:

Brewers figures they were going to lose to Kershaw anyway.  :hysterical:

Seriously I expect him to pitch well. Which for him would be five innings and three runs.

it would make sense that he outmatches Kershaw.

What's the over/under on Gio's first inning pitch count?  26.5?
