     Lots of commies in W PA at that time.

Two of my mom’s brothers, sons of the Italian commie, were marines and served in Iwo. One got one of those million dollar injuries but like Forrest he never collected anything.  :mg:

Zimmerman is the best 3B I've ever seen

You millennials never got to see Ken McMullen.  :hysterical:

The unions (USW and UMW) were full of leftists, including my GF and his youngest brother.    Yet, all 4 of his sons served proudly.

Fresno? What happened to the Lerners superior negotiating skills? Or am I thinking of Trump?  :hysterical:

Yeah  ...

Of the 2 marine uncles I mentioned, the older was living in Baltimore. He had a job that was designated as essential to the war effort so he was exempt from the draft. His son, my cousin was telling me that he got so tired of hearing all these comments like you look able bodied why aren’t you serving? So he told his boss to take him off the exempt list. Bam he got drafted!

The other uncle was drafted as soon as he turned 18 which was a month before he was to graduate from high school. The Masontown draft board didn’t care, we need bodies.

I would not be the least bit surprised to learn that she picked up strangers in bars and then killed them after the act.

I don't know about murder, but I'd be shocked if she hasn't harvested a kidney or three.

All those bases loaded innings and we’re looking at a 3-2 game.

What's up with this two out lightning?    Seems we've been on the short end of that a lot.
