Give credit where it's due: Wainwright has pitched a great game. Economical, down in the strike zone. Only the one mistake to Belly. Let's hope for another!

I watch the game via MLB tv.
I've finally looked at the foto's from last week.
They looked great. And finally know some faces by names.

Nook is like 1 centimeter too short for catching the ball

He got to gather himself during the rainout ... the Nats were hitting him HARD in the 5th ... three straight hits ...if Church had gotten a hit I'm sure they would have pulled him ...

I don't think we could ever confuse Nook for that idiot Conseco ... Nook gave it a good try ... would have been a great catch ...

Do you think the Cards would prefer to have Belliard over Kennedy?

And not his first nor last.
And Ronny with a basehit.

Come on Ryan!

IMO: hitting him hard would have included a couple of doubles. As it stands, he gave up a number of singles (excluding Beliard's bomb) and pitched a great game. This being the first time I've seen him, I like his line in this game.
