welcome to the "we're the visiting team in our own stadium" stage of the season.  Sigh...

This team sucks. Considering expectations, worst team since baseball returned to DC. Colossal underperformance.

Injuries, regression, plain old underperformance, some bad luck.

The Cards and Cubs combination is probably the worst you can have in Back to School week. All the locals stay home cause the kids are getting up early tomorrow, and both of those fan bases travel extremely well. I’m afraid to look at next year’s calendar.  All the losing just makes it worse,

Soto has come back down to Earth. He also lacks power. When Harper leaves, we will not have a 25+ homer bat

Juan Soto last seven games:  .333 / .484 / .375
Last 15: .321   .424   .429

yeah, he sucks, cut him.

Not sure if you’re trolling, but I’ll take the bait.

Soto has 16 hr in 95 games. He’s hit balls to the moon (The 2 vs the Yankees). Makes opposite field homers look easy. Has steadily hit .300 since being called up. OBP .419 OPS .928.

Coming down to earth haha

You can make the same case for Harper.  People (including me) thought he should sit some. But he didn’t and bounced back. So lil d must be a genius.
