I'm looking to see if Stras has his velocity back in his third outing back. He certainly didn't have it first outing back. A bit better second outing but not quite there. He did have nasty off speed stuff his second outing though.

All the rain was in E. WV around 3:00 PM.    It rained like cats and dogs.    It appears all the rain is in a SW to NE pattern.    Thunder/darkness movin' into E. Loudoun.    Haven't seen any lightning yet.

After nearly 10 years on this board I discovered the secret to tolerating GDT is to drink a lot (I'm a slow learner.) So tonight I'm drinking manhattans powered by Jefferson Reserve. Ok, bourbon snobs (ahem, DCfan, Tomterp) I'm not mixing anything better.

And in the spirit of drunk posting, I'm going to start by posting a picture of Bernie Brewer. Bernie is in the long long of baseball's really weird tradition of really weird mascots. (Later on, I will tell the story of how when at Shea way back when I noticed Mr. Mets had visible panty lines. Of course, I promptly started calling her MS. Met and got thrown out.)
