Solis has been a great batting practice pitcher all year.

Solis' ERA was unaffected by that obviously, so all is fine when he finishes with a sub-4 ERA and comes back in 2019 :?

Solis had the numbers. Sorry, you’re wrong.

There isn’t a Nats fan in the world that trusts Solis in a pressure situation.

I thought Difo would have had the jump on it.

Literally right past his glove.

He was 0-4 against Solis. You want that matchup

I like Murph but Difo's reflexes in the field are much better.

What numbers?  His numbers are significantly better this year against righties than lefties, and he'd only faced Heyward 4 times (none this year), so that's hardly enough to get conclusions from.

0-4 isn't enough.  That's the equivalent of one game against a starter.  Sorry, no, that's exactly the problem of small sample size.

Talk about small sample size. If that’s what Dave based his decision on he’s dumb.  I’m usually against  bashing these guys,  but every time Solís comes in my sphincter tone increases significantly.

Such a weird season. I feel like we all are watching games waiting for something bad to happen.

It sucks to think about this all doesn’t happen if kieboom holds on to one of those foul tips...

of course but that's not a skill. who knew the no hitter would come back to bite us in the ass, if not for that Hellickson is likely out of there by then. but can we stop nagging about Hellickson not being allowed to pitch deeper into games now?

Not many large sample sizes for young players that aren’t in the same division.

I don’t think anyone has been saying that for a while.

I’m not blaming Kieboom.  Just saying how it sucks and things can turn on something unlucky like that.

Not much you can do, when a ball 3-4 inches off the plate is a strike. You’ve gotta swing at literally anything.
