yeah, seriously, how do you do that?  It was amazing that he threw a strike LH, even more amazing given the pain he must have been in given he collapsed afterwards.

the Phillies broadcast they mentioned that he is ambidextrous but to have the presence of mind in pain to throw the glove off and throw left handed is sick.

I think he started doing his unannounced free concerts at the Sheraton grounds on Maui sometime after I left the Islands...maybe around his birthday?  I would have loved to have been there for one of them...

I played with a dude who could throw with both hands (he was a catcher and also played LF).

No, the initial prognosis is that he's "day to day", but after 3 weeks they'll adjust to the 6-8 range.
