I think it was perfect for a Nats ticketing and logistics standpoint.  It's a clean break (Don't have to clear the park) and no exchanges for tonight's game because the 6th inning started.  Bonus for tomorrow's ticket holders is free baseball if they can get to the park early.

I don't like it.  I can understand not allowing ticket holders from today to attend tomorrow's game, but they should at least allow fans who have tickets for today to exchange them for a future game.

So I guess those with the inclusive booze & eats tickets tomorrow will clean up?  Could get 7 innings tomorrow (6-9 & 1-4), a rain out after the 4th in game 2, and get to repeat on Thursday, yes?  Hmmm

We think in similar ways!  I won't bother trying to work the system given the weather the next 4 days.  My luck is they play it all tomrrow and I'm stuck at work until 8.

If it was an official game after 4.5 innings, or 5 innings, they would not get another game.

I side with the Nats on this...it's the correct call...

Likely not making the trek with this weather...can't see blowing 8 hours on round trip travel and wait time at the Park.

Took 3 hours to get to the ATM last night...another 2-1/2 to get home.

Coming down in buckets in The Fashionable West End of Henrico County right now...if that means anything...

For those with tickets to only 1 game tonight, why not buy standing room only tickets for the other game ?  Particularly for regular fans, they should be able to work out a deal with the usher in their regular section.

Because there is only one ticket to be had. This is being treated  as a traditional double header. One ticket for both games. Tickets to last night’s games aren’t valid.

If you have tickets to tonight's game you don't need to buy another ticket for the resumption of the first game...

That makes more sense - I thought last night there was a discussion on fans coming/going between the 2 games

The continuation of the 5/15 game and the 5/16 regularly scheduled game against the New York Yankees have both been postponed

The continuation of last night's game and tonight's regularly scheduled game against the New York Yankees have both been postponed due to impending inclement weather. The continuation of the May 15th game will be played on Monday, June 18th at 5:05 p.m. The game originally scheduled for tonight (5/16) will be played on Monday, June 18th and will begin approximately thirty minutes after the conclusion of the previous game. Please hold onto your tickets and parking passes. Tickets to the 5/16 game will be honored for both the completion of last night's game and the rescheduled game. Tickets can be exchanged for any other 2018 regular season game excluding the 7/2 – 7/4 games vs the Boston Red Sox. Visit nationals.com/rain for more information.

Still raining in my neighborhood near Columbia Heights, sometimes heavy, sometimes moderate.

My OCD says, I don't care, but can someone sort out the thread title? It hurts every time I see it.

The last game of the Arizona set is wrong as well... it ruins what is a pretty mighty page.

Sheesh, the things I care about when there is no Nats game.  :hang:

Fixed Dbacks 4 title, marked this one and locking until the continuation, at which time this thread will be unlocked and bumped.

Think Nats can win at least one of these?  If not, our ass is in the jackpot.

Nats have several lineup questions.  Stevenson was in cf, Kendrick at 2d, Adams in left, and Reynolds at 1st.  You could see Eaton or Taylor in CF; Eaton or Soto in left (or Adams stay there); Adams, Reynolds or Murphy at 1st; and Murphy or Difo at 2d.

This post may set a record for most semi-colons.
