I actually thought we’d pull it out :(

But we all knew they didn’t deserve it.

Turner grounding into a double play was deadly.

He did it twice?

I know people will talk about Dave and pitching. But none of this happens if we scored runs. This offense simply isn’t getting it done.

Hitters that aren’t on the DL, aren’t coming through in RBI opportunities.

Three runs on Corbin should get you a win

No runs 7 innings against their bullpen. Is everyone in their pen elite? No.

Played 10 innings today. Scored 3 runs in 2 innings. 8 innings of no offense.

Maybe not the entire bullpen, but it seems like the guys we faced were.  They have the best pitching in the NL...us...not so much...

And the Dodgers, Giants, Rockies, Braves (twice), swept by the Mets at home.

Good thing we got the Elite pitching teams out of the way

You keep moving the bar...if you want to talk about today, fine...if you want to talk about this entire crap show, that's another matter.

If you haven't noticed, we don't have Murphy, Rendon or Eaton...

And yes, the team on the field isn't hitting well...Royce included...

No ones moving the bar. The same issues for today are for the others. All I was saying.

You said they had best pitching in NL. But the result was the same for all those other teams too. My point.

You are missing Goodwin in that list right?

We get guys on. We can’t get them home. And for most of these games, guys like Harper, Zimmerman, Wieters... they are coming up short just like MAT.

Getting those guys back will be huge. But we can’t count on half the lineup to win the games.

Maybe Sev just had more faith in Adams then he should.

Any Cliff's Notes?

He stammered, said the guys are playing their hearts out, tell them to keep their head up etc but I missed his explanation of the screwup with the player not being announced. It was depressing and not confidence-inspiring at all :(

He threw two previous fastballs for strikes. Made no sense.

When a pitcher sucks that bad I don't like blaming the catcher.
