It's really not news at all...it's been over for at least the past 5 weeks...

It was officially over when I said it was over and placed the bet with BS weeks ago :(.

This. LIke, it wasn't just me. There's like 8 posters with dumpsters for an avy picture. This season effectively ended when they couldn't take the series with the Brewers.

I am open to calling that the worst loss of the season. My grip on the rope is as weak as it has been this season.

I remember losing game 3 to the Padres as being galling but last night's takes the cake.

Eh, maybe it is over. But you seem to feel the need to keep repeating it like a broken record.

Some teams in their position may still have hope.  But not our Natinals.   They are chumps.  Free Max!

This felt like 2015 right from the start and it still does

The part that is most aggravating is that all of the teams in the Wild Card except the Cards chose this last two weeks to come to earth. Only the Cards have a winning record. Everyone else went 5-5 or worse in their last ten.

May someone (with authority) add the following poll to this thread?

Who will win the NL East?
1.  Braves
2.  Phililies

Pathologically repeating it. I'm beginning to think he just cuts and pastes.

If it's between the braves and the Phillies to win the division I am hoping it's the braves because I can't stand Philadelphia fans of any sport.

I won't "cheer" for either one.

That does it. I’m not rooted for the Steelers or Buccos anymore.

I don't know how you could go nuclear and include the Steelers.    I said nothing about the Eagles.   I'm disappointed.    BTW  Did you get any burn in HI?

Phillies and Barves fans are both obnoxious but in different ways. They can both go eff themselves.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say the Nats are the Indians of last year. Underachieved the whole season, underperformed their run differential, underperformed in one-run games. Then in August ran off a incredible stretch. I’m not saying this will happen. And I don’t think they will go on a record breaking streak, but I don’t think the Nats are as dead as everyone thinks.

You contradicted and couched your comments impressively here.
