I wanna like Vicky Robles.

Deep in our hearts, we KNOW that is exactly what Max wanted to do.

My first visit today to the Mets spring joint and but for the narrow concourse it is the nicest park of Jupiter,  WPB and Port St. Lucia.

And some Mets fans are jerks...the ones yelling Tebow sux

Saturday's game is on MLB network at 4:00 pm and then again overnight. Not sure if it's on MASN? MLB cannot show it live because of the mandatory showing of Yankees and Red Sox. I fully expect all their match ups this year to be on national TV.

Looks like Zimm had a nice debut yesterday. Two hard hit balls, one for a double.

Harper is back for today’s matchup of 2018 World Series game one starters.

Zim’s swing looked really good. Smooth, everything in sync.  The slide into 2nd was terrifying, not because it was poorly executed (it wasn’t), just because it’s Ryan Zimmerman sliding. I hate to see almost anyone slide head first but I actually get scared when it’s Zim.

Robles looked great (as usual) and Kieboom is sneakily turning into a solid hitter, and he can run fairly well by catcher standards.

Was it scarier than him throwing a baseball?

Actually yes cause Spring Training games don’t matter, but if you asked about “was it scarier than him throwing a baseball in a theoretical game 5” I might have to think it over.

Zimm out again today vs STL, didn't play in the SS games yesterday,.  Hmmmmm

Some early stars this ST:

Kendrick: batting .364
Wieters: .400
Adams: .500
Trey .364 / .500

Harper now hitting .300 / .364 / .700 after going 2-3, with a HR yesterday.

I don't think Murphy is going to be ready for opening day. Would Kendrick or Difo start at 2B?

I read Taylor was pulled from the start today due to soreness in his side. Ruh-oh.

Collier on Twitter: Tanner Roark allowed one hit in four scoreless innings in his third spring start. He threw 46 pitches

Apparently Tanner is experimenting a bit with pitching from a modified stretch rather than a full windup.

I read Taylor was pulled from the start today due to soreness in his side. Ruh-oh.

I liked that signing. I think he will play a lot this year, unfortunately for Zimm.

Watching the St. Louis broadcast which is on MLB network now. Drink.

The centerfield camera is set so low you can barely see home plate.

That's the same view the umpire has...

Yea. But he's a lot closer to the plate.
