To clarify, A’s have been in talks about either trading for Matt Wieters or signing Jonathan Lucroy. Sources indicate they will get one of them.

A's beat reporter.

We'll rent the Buffalo in July if Wiets doesn't have a bounceback year. Tampa doesn't even have a full rotation, no way they are not sellers come All Star Break.

I don't trust the team with Arrieta still available. I still think they sign Arrieta now instead of looking for a pitcher at the deadline and trade for Realmuto then.

I think the Nats are starting to value the international bonus pool money, which would be decreased if they take a guy who got a QO.  I also think the Wieters troubles have given the Lerners a reminder to chill TF out and let Rizzo do his job. I think they’re a lot less likely to go for Arrieta now than they would have been in 2017.

Anybody know who the new racing presidents are? I think there are a total of 7 now. Teddy, Taft, Hoover, Washington, Jefferson, and Abe. I think they introduced a new one this spring training. Anybody know?

I think that is it.  Taft, Hoover and Coolidge are relegated to Florida only now.

No new ones this year. The spring training ones are Coolidge, Taft and whoever else was from earlier seasons but aren’t the Mt Rushmore 4. They retired to Florida.

Thank god our double-A player blooped one into LF off their double-A pitcher, or else we might've been 3-hit.

Is that a replay or live?    POST shows MASN live.

You are correct; it's live; or whatever time Florida is on!
I just assumed they had played today and it was taped.  Thanks for pointing that out.

Great.   There's so much good sports (Wiz/NCAA), etc., I would have cut a replay out of my viewing schedule.
