I hope so. Maybe until the end of the decade.  It's not that far off.

Perfect example of why people talk about Philadelphia.    It's like watchin' your parking ticket show.     BTW, in Western PA we do the chicken dance at weddings.

DC Eagles are rockin' in the wind.      That nest ain't lost as many branches as my neighbors have lost siding and roofing.

When I see her she's got it up and darting all around like "whoa what on earth is going on around here??"

Saw a bald eagle on MD 77 crossing South Mountain in Washington County, near Catoctin Mountain Park and Cunningham Falls. He or she did a low circle in front of us, then swooped down and grabbed some roadkill squirrel on the road, only about 50 feet in front of us, then flew off. Damn, those things are HUGE! The sun was full on him or her, so the white head and tail were dazzling. That’s the second time we’ve seen a bald eagle in that area, so I’m suspecting (hoping) that they may have a next near the Cunningham Falls lake or along one of the streams that feeds it.

I don't know much about eagles and I've been googlin' but   ....   the DC egg has been unattended for a long time in my unscientific opinion.   Over the last hour or so, they keep rotating the camera like they're lookin' for the adults.

Snowin' in Hanover, PA.

On the Liberty game they showed video of the students down in the snow in Lynchburg.  Looked like quite a bit of snow there.

Doin' some googlin' and it says the eggs usually take 35 days (give or take) to hatch.   The DC egg was laid on February 7.    We're about at that point and the egg's still alone.    Like my mom used to tell me, "Be home when the street lights come on."    Well, the street lights are on and it's time for one of the adults to show up.   I'm hopin' it's not they know something we don't.

Article indicates there were/are 2 eggs.   I'm only seein' one today and no adult for almost an hour.
