Poll is almost dead even with 33 votes in. I'm thinking of closing the poll so vote now.

I somehow overlooked the option of "I'm going to wait to see how much tickets are before I decide".

Here is the lineup from last year's. Miami would probably be one of the 3 easiest places to attract celebrities and this is what they could muster. It's going to be slim pickings for DC

Maybe Rep. Nunez and Mueller.

I heard that Dave Grohl is one of the potential celebs and that at some point he will play a song (although that might not be during the celeb game or the Sunday).  I think Dave’s done the celebrity game before?

Or perhaps the AOI by then.

Is it possible to  throw out the ceremonial first pitch whilst wearing handcuffs?

...all the more reason to get a bit of international travel in during this period, as noted above.

So, according to my ticket rep, the All Star strip invoices will be going out within the next 2 weeks, so I would assume we would have pricing and seat location info before they send the invoices.  She said the seats are pre-assigned/can't pick and choose.  So there should be info on its way soon.  Tomorrow is the Hot Stove event for SPH so hopefully they give some info then (I have a conflict so I can't go, but I passed the tickets on to one of my group members who has been tasked with taking notes).

You can change votes after the prices come out, but I think we all know the price range so I would feel comfortable voting now.

He'll be busy learning his new team's offensive system.
He already knows Kyle Shanahan's system.

I meant it more as "he'll be busy doin' something else" rather than bein' in DC for   ....   anything.

Mine should be somewhere between $800 and $2000, right?  Not sure if that's quite enough to go on.

I don't know where you sit, but I'm in 113 and I bet my strip price will be around $1K per ticket. I'm guessing $350 for the ASG, $300 for the home run derby, $200 for the futures game/celebrity softball, and $100 for the fanfest. Of course, my actual seats are not guaranteed but I'm hoping I at least get something nearby.

I'm in 211.  I would hope they price out the misc events separately and don't lump them all together, I'm going to have a hard enough time as it is.

They are selliing them in strips. That means you have to buy it all. I also have seats in 212 so I'm right next to you.

I think a fair amount of people won't buck up for the strips and that should open up some seats for those who do.

The highest priced strip from 2015  in Minnesota was $1450 or thereabouts, so between the passage of time, the potential for ridiculous home run derby, and DC in general being more expensive, I'm guessing the top price will be maybe $1800 per strip (one seat, all events). But that will be in the lexus club.  This article from when the Padres hosted refers to the face price for the strips which I'm guessing is the SPH price.  http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/padres/sdut-padres-all-star-game-mlb-tickets-baseball-petco-2015jan22-story.html

In 211 you have a fairly high chance of being moved to a different section. As I understand it, MLB takes most of the club level, most of the lexus club, and a bunch of seats where home run balls are likely to land. If you're a SPH in those areas, you'll be assigned seats elsewhere, although I have no idea how they decide who goes where. Probably the same criteria they use for relocating mini-plan holders for the post season games.

I’d be really pissed if I had paid all that cash for years to be a SPH in the Delta Club and they took my seats for the most m premier event that the stadium has ever hosted.

I wonder how the Nats will mollify these guys.
