I don't think it's Mugsy you're thinking of, his contemporary Spud Webb was the dunker. Please correct me if I'm mis-remembering though, but Mugsy had Dutch Morley's hops.

I think you are correct; Spud Webb was the one with hops.

I have Michigan and Michigan State in the final four in my money pool. Luckily for me your guys came through last night. Hope Syracuse can keep winning to shake up those brackets.

Interesting how they made a big deal about UNC and UVA playing in Charlotte and how much of a home court advantage it was. And they are both going to lose...

Edit: Michigan State in Detroit as well.

What a collapse by Cincinnati. terrible coaching decisions by Mick Cronin. First he leaves a guy in with 4 fouls when he has an 8 point lead. Then he screams at the guy when he commits foul number 5. A real bad look. Then they appear to run no offense for several minutes. Then he stupidly tries to go two for one at the end and forces a bad shot. Then cannot call a play at the end to get the ball to one of his better players.

As a young person, I remember stories about a coach at Ashland (KY) named Bill Musselman. He was tough. Eric Musselman (name) triggered that memory so I googled Bill Musselman. He was Eric's dad. Dayum that was over 50 years ago.
