Where did you hear the part about the draft pick? That would be a crushing trade.

Schefter tweeted that it's at least a second. In a year that will be awash in ok qb free agents, they trade away a second for an ok qb

Edit, it's a third now, still a terrible deal. The team needs a defense a running back and wide receivers and they trade away a pick that should turn into a starter

Andy Reid is laughing at the Redskins right now. That's the second time he pawned off an aging QB on the Redskins.

Except they have a bad history at picking.

I wonder who is the player getting traded. It might as well be Cravens.

As much as I hate this move I might have to tune in to the likes of Sheehan and Paulsen. They will be devastated and will probably cry on the air tomorrow. :lmao:

I was just thinkin' along those lines.    Grant'll be super whiny tomorrow.

So...they gave $71 million guaranteed to an older, worse QB they wouldn't offer the younger, better QB last offseason. Oh and gave up a player and draft pick in the process? Seems about right.

Don't worry, Reid doesn't know what he's doing getting rid of a qb- I'm sure he has years left

Channel 4 started the 11:00 news with the Redskins story. Football trumps the State of the Union!

Franchise-killing stuff here, passing on an affordable, productive, healthy, trouble-free pick in his prime over and over. So is trading away a high pick and an affordable, emerging recent draftee (at a posits hard and expensive to fill. for a high-paid 34 year old without much playoff success.

Leaving this franchise in the hands of Allen (from McNabb to Scot to Cousins) with years' worth of failure will be the final nail in the coffin for much of this fanbase as far as spending money and time on them.

There's no making sense of what the 'skins' FO does.

Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen. It makes perfect sense.

I would agree with you except that the front office has repeatedly clowned the fan base for the past 20 years. I’m surprised they have fans left.

I don't know, I'd have to say the Orioles' trade for Glenn Davis is still right up around the top of that list, regardless of my general personal antipathy towards the Orioles.

Not as bad as the Rams trade to get Bob G, but still makes no sense to me.  I just hope I outlive Danny.  Otherwise I'll never see another good Skins' team :smh:
