Time to close out 2017's thread and start one for 2018.

If you bet the under on the Redskins you won some money. I wonder what next season's over/under will be.

...heard a rumour on the Amy Lawrence show this morning that Cousins is actually weighing signing with the Cleveland Browns (if negotiations over a long-term contract fall thorugh).

What a slap to Snyder and his yes-men that would be (not that they'r3 all that concerned about that - they no doubt have visions of Lamar Jackson dancing in their heads; Cousins will be playing somewhere else next season)...

Cleveland is trying what has worked in other sports, just ask the Astros. It may not work in football, but I'm not sure they're as incompetent has people portray them (certainly not less co!patent than the redskins)

I totally agree. This has stupid written all over it. The idea of Alex smith truly makes me sick. I don't see how that guy is going to change after all these years in the league. If I was a WR I would be pissed. Most of his time in the NFL he's been a checkdown guy. But for this theere is no way you give up a high draft pick. But with these clowns in control they probably got fleeced.

rotoworld already has the Redskins logo on Smith's page.

Also, they won't be able to get a draft pick out of Cousins.

Both are nothing more than Snyder shills.

With Smith they are going to need a running game which they don't have. They will need to draft a LG and a RB to fix the running game. But no matter what they do along those lines you still can't get the TE's to block and that is a major part of the running game.

I was just told that a player is also involved in the trade going back to KC.
