They had a leaky roof at the basketball game the other day too.
I missed posting this last week, but here is a bases clearing sac fly.https://www.mlb.com/news/starlin-castro-drives-in-three-runs-on-sac-fly/c-272105990
"I just saw the runner and thought I had a chance on that play," Diaz said. "When I saw the ball [sail] I just thought, 'Oh my God.' I'm going to continue to throw the ball. I'm going to make errors because I'm human. I just want to continue to be aggressive."
The Indians and Twins are playing in Puerto Rico and it’s tied in the 14th, 0-0. Hasn’t that poor island suffered enough??
Aren’t they playing on generator power too? I saw there was an island-wide power outage.
Yes. The stadium has two generators that provide 600 kilowatts. Each light bank has a separate generator that provides 200 kilowatts each. I’m not sure it’s a good look to have all that power to a baseball game when the rest of the island has none.
Omg the Twins just tied it again lolol
quite the game
It’s great for the morale of the locals and it’s fantastic for the tourists (who will spend lots of money, which helps the locals). And we on the mainland need to see this, because we should be ashamed at how poorly our government has handled this. We should be up in arms. The more people who see this, the better.
White Sox reliever Danny Farquhar collapsed in the dugout yesterday and is in critical condition with a brain aneurism. https://deadspin.com/white-sox-reliever-danny-farquhar-in-critical-condition-1825445074
I heard they took him to the hospital. That sucks.
White Sox reliever Danny Farquhar lost consciousness while in the dugout between innings in last night’s game. He was taken to Rush Univ Hospital where he was diagnosed with a ruptured aneurysm in his brain. Terrifying. I hope he’s going to be ok. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/ct-spt-white-sox-danny-farquhar-20180421-story.htmlDoctor Brother used to be part of the gameday medical services for the White Sox and the worst they ever got was fans with heatstroke, but thank goodness they had emergency medics onsite last night.
