This really seems like a more appropriate nats mascots, but good for the rangers realizing the futility of their situation

So first Mets catcher d'Arnaud suffers a torn UCL, and now backup Kevin Plawecki has a hairline fracture in his left hand after being hit by a Marlins pitcher.

Mets don't have the kind of farm that can land him.

Speaking of which, the Rangers racing mascots thing used to be racing water bottle caps sponsored by Ozarka water, but the sponsorship changed and they didn't want to buy new mascot costumes so now it's literally "racing dots".

Heard on the radio this weekend that the White Sox only had 794 actual attendance at a recent home match (paid attendance was of course higher).

In fact, looking at their schedule/results page on ESPN.com, I see where apart from their home opener they haven't broken the 20k paid attendance mark at any of their six home fixtures played to date.

I bet they trade for Realmuto once he is back from the DL.

They don’t have the farm system to land him.  The asking price to us was Robles or Soto straight deal, and the only way the Mets could swing that would be to offer Rosario, but the Marlins are stuck with Rojas at short and Castro at 2B and no way to move either of those guys (plus the jury is still out on Rosario).
