says he's OK
I'll believe it after he gets through his first start.  He's a slinger and I hope it doesn't mess up his legs and motion.

That was a very nice story, kudos to the Sox for doing that for him.

They just announced he will have TJ surgery. That sucks.

Last night's Angels-Dodgers game at Dodger Stadium ended early due to an unfortunate "plumbing issue".  https://twitter.com/jphoornstra/status/978843961572773888?s=20 (read the whole thread too)

More coverage: https://streamable.com/mvy80

(insert snarky comment about Dodger fans, Chase Utley, or the City of LA  here)

Nathan Eovaldi will likely need surgery to remove bone fragments from his elbow. This takes the Rays’ four-man rotation experiment down to a 3-man rotation, meaning they will probably decide to tank now.

And why has *no one* commented on the post (^^ look up ^^ ) about turds floating around in Dodger Stadium yet?!

-Don't turds always float around Dodger Stadium? They just are on the field instead of the concourses this time...

-Wait! Why are Puig and Utley on a boat in Dodger Stadium?

-Anybody who has been to that stadium can see how crappy it is..

Salvy Perez out for ~6 weeks with a grade 2 MCL tear he suffered while he was carrying his luggage.

Why TF is Salvy Perez schlepping his own luggage?!?!

....  Do the Royals have anyone we want? Cause that 6 week recovery on an MCL tear seems rather optimistic for a catcher, especially one of Perez’ age and size, and this kills their season.

Greg Holland to Cardinals. 1 year $14 million.

Edit: should have taken the qualifying offer.

...And the first pitch of the 2018 regular season is a Urena (Marlins) fastball to Ian Happ (Cubs) for a tater.

Interesting start to the season...Molina crushed a Thor pitch for a 2 run dong, and Schwarber looked like Jayson Werth on a fly ball and then a liner to left...

...and we'll find ourselves in last place on opening day....

Wouldn't the loser of Atlanta/Philly be behind us?  And possibly the Marlins and the Mets.

Lest we be too smug, the Anacostia has had an issue with "brown trout" for quite a few decades.  However, help is on the way.
