Danny Espinsoa to the Blue Jays on a minor league deal with a ST invite.
Looks like he’s trying to challenge EJax for most teams in a career.

The Blue Crabs could use a 2nd baseman too.

This forum has some type of weird obsession with Danny Espinosa

Seldom see such talent squandered out of stubborness.  He flat out refuses to take an approach at the plate that works, despite great talent.

Contrast with immensely talented players that we've had whose careers were stifled by injuries beyond their control.  Nick Johnson among many.

Dare I also add John Patterson to the list?

Solid? No. He is in fact quite flabby.

Toothpick management.

It's good they gave him a role. He deserves it. Put in many years for them.

Agreed, he still wants to be involved and he's got a good baseball mind, should be a nice role for him.

But he's been in a good year/bad year/good year cycle. He's due for a collapse.

Mark Melancon is having arm issues again and may be heading for another DL stint.

One, the bad luck doesn’t stop with the Giants. Two, the Nats dodged a bullet with this guy.

Melancon was absolutely invaluable to this team in 2016.  He did his part.  His great performance was wasted.  Who could've predicted that Felipe Rivero would transform himself in just one season?
