Ah, that's true. Good point. I'd still think they'd limit him around 145-150. Really, there was no other reason he would have come out of that game Saturday after 5 other than innings.
They may want him to go into September with a few bullets left so he can throw in the majors that month. I think they have in the past tried to get college pitchers used to pitching in more games and longer in the year as part of the development process, rather than blow through the innings target by mid-August.
