Runs above replacement is basically WAR. It's approximately 10 runs above replacement equals 1 win. So they estimated Rendon created 61 extra runs over the season than if he had gotten hurt and was replaced with a AAAA player. If you look Baseball reference for Rendon he had a bWAR of 5.9 last year. so it makes sense.
Rendon was the best position player of the team last year. And it wasn't even close.
