What a dumb move to sign Stanton to that deal to begin with. You sign him to that deal, he is coming off a MVP season, and nobody wants to take on that contract without the Marlins eating part of it. Just what were their expectations for him if teams think it's too much even when he's MVP? If he hit 80 HRs, would anybody take that contract on in full? Geez.
