That’s a very Team-friendly contract and Rivero has been just incredible in his tenure with the Pirates, so you kind of have to expect he’s going to at least be shopped around to see what kind of haul he could bring back. Shortly after the McCutchen news broke, Rivero tweeted the face palm emoji so I’m gonna guess he’s not thrilled about all these trades when he’s just signed a multi year contract.
