The ballpark is about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport.  There are Hampton Inn-type places at the exit from the highway for the ballpark, which are about a mile from the ballpark, but there's nothing to do in that area.  There are also hotels in downtown WPB next to the City Walk area, which is about 10 minutes by car from the ballpark.
