So, do the Red Sox get swept?

Nope.  When Fister starts game 3 of a 5 game series down 2-0, he is unstoppable!

Girardi is getting crucified for pulling Sabathia last night after 5 1/3 when CC was cruising and was only at 77 pitches.  Girardi says he was sticking with his pre-game plan.

Is Matt Williams Giardi's spiritual advisor now?

He should be getting crucified for the foul tip non-challenge right before the grand slam.

That and for throwing Robertson multiple innings after the 5th with a lead. With that pen, you should win every game you have after the third

Dodgers win.  Our series is the only one that’s not 2-0 right now.

The New York Times had a serious hit job in today's sports section.  And apparently Chapman 'liked' a tweet calling Girardi a moron

Apart from the Nats' series, the Indians and Yankees are my go to series.     Feelings go back a long way with each franchise.    One good  ...  the other  ...  not so much.

I’m enjoying the heck out of Boston and Houston.

As for the NYY, I'm going to guess that a few TV /radio guys in NY are reaching for their Ramones cover of Surfin' Bird for their drive time reports.

I can't remember the last time I saw a manager ejected in the playoffs.

MLB desperately needs to take balls and strikes away from umpires.

Those punch outs were both correct, and he showed excellent restraint in not turfing Pedroia.
