Hmmm, Yankees/Dodgers.  Where have I heard about that being a thing before?

As I told my baseball wife this morning the Cubs just weren't as good as the Dodgers. The Nats were a better team than the Cubs at least on paper. We should have beaten the Cubs but we would have lost to the Dodgers but not as badly as the Cubs did. Their bats were as quiet against the Dodgers as they were against us. Unfortunately ours were almost as quiet except for game 5. Damn Gio, Werth , Wieters and Baker. No , I didn't forget Scherzer. I just didn't want to heap more criticism than he already received from himself.

We share a partial plan and she refers to me as her baseball husband. I had a GF and she played golf with some guy and she called him her golf husband. Yeah I know I sound like the guy from Montreal who had a wife who was always with other guys.

If the Astros win this series, Girardi will never hear the end of letting Severino pitch to him with the bases loaded.

if the Nationals ever make it to a Game 7, I’m going to be a nervous wreck.

Hell, their last two Game 5’s had me a bundle of nerves.

Girardi should have pulled CC before beginning the 4th. Subtle but clear...now.

Astros catcher just made a great defensive catch and tag at the plate that no Nats catcher of the last half decade would have made.

Nice play at the plate by the Astros... those plays seem a lot less stressful with a decent catcher behind the plate.

Brian McCann of the Braves. With Gattis, that makes two Atlanta catchers starting for Houston. Strange how players float around.

Charlie Morton.  Starting pitching is overrated.

Between that play at the plate and the big hit I bet the Yankees are mighty sorry they traded him to Houston.

2IPAs is hoping the Astros win the World Series so Nats owners can see the World Series trophy each day at our joint spring training facility.

Watching the game last night I couldn't help comparing the performance of Morton and McCullers to our Gio and Scherzer.
