Of all the cheers at Nats Park today - and there've been plenty as several starters have been ceremonially removed to standing ovations - the loudest might have come as Bryce Harper scored from first on an Adrian Sanchez double, his helmet flying off in trademark fashion. Between that and a pair of hits and a walk, Harper - who came off the DL Tuesday after six weeks out - looks as close to playoff-ready as he's looked yet.

Max Scherzer, who left Saturday's start with a leg injury, said his MRI showed a "minor tweak" to his right hamstring. The Nats ace, who was wearing a sleeve around his upper leg, said his status for Game 1 of the NLDS is uncertain.
