Because we haven’t spent the season watching the cubs and the talking heads on national programs don’t slurp him. I’ve only got so much bandwidth for this.
EDIT:He’s also pitched a lot less innings than last year and seems worse in every meaningful stat than last year.
So chalk it up to ignorance I guess

He definitely started off slower, and then was out for a while with a right hand issue.

Anyway, it's like to be Hendricks then Quintana for the first 2 games.  It's a bit of a mystery after that...Lester had a down season, moreso in the 2nd half, and Arrieta's battling a hamstring injury.

I'll disappear back into the shadows now.
