Lurking Cubs fan here.  Really didn't intend to post, but this is like the third time or so I've seen the Cubs pitching staff talked about in this thread without Kyle Hendricks being mentioned.  Just seems odd.  He's been the Cubs best pitcher this year and is probably the prime candidate to start game 1.

Because we haven’t spent the season watching the cubs and the talking heads on national programs don’t slurp him. I’ve only got so much bandwidth for this.
EDIT:He’s also pitched a lot less innings than last year and seems worse in every meaningful stat than last year.
So chalk it up to ignorance I guess
