Off comment about Carp.    He was on 106.7 with Pollin and Loverro today.    He told a pretty good story.    He was in the dugout in St. Louis (of course) with Bob Gibson.    It was batting practice and a young phenom on the other team was hittin' some blasts.    Carp commented, "That kid is really hittin' some blasts."    Gibson responded, "Anybody can hit blasts at 5 PM.   He'll see me at 7."

Alright, here's our mission.    welch is sittin' in section 126 (behind the tarp) on the 3rd base line.    He'll have some Nats' gear on and maybe a Killebrew throw back.    His daughter has long red hair and is with him.    First to spot him wins a beer at next week's "Meet and Greet".

How about pharmacology?    Seriously though, if we can get you a wheel chair, you and your party can get some prime seat locations.    I'll push.

I have a 3 week rule.    If it still hurts after 3 weeks, I may go to the doctor.

Mentioned this in another thread   ...   the Pep Rally is being sponsored by Carefirst BC/BS.    I wonder if there's a $5000 deductible and a co-payment to get in.

When I was runnin' every morning, I fell (in the winter on the ice) and ended up crackin' my rib.    Got home and the missus had some old Vicodin in the medicine cabinet.    I took one and went to work.    I worked in a card access area.    About an hour in, I closed the door and took a nap.
