I don't have Internet access where I've been (caring for a relative in her 90s, in very poor health.
Ironically, she's getting physical therapy twice per week now.)
I'm working on getting the Internet and a computer there.

.235/.291/.357
.262/.311/.466

.648 OPS vs .777 OPS. Why is Wieters hitting ahead of Taylor? Why is Wieters batting anywhere other than 8th at any time? Great calling a game, but his bat isn't even replacement level at this point.

He touched that ball from fair territory.     What's the rule on that?

It was in foul territory when he touched it. But if it had been in fair territory when he touched it would be ruled fair.

If this is the real Michael Taylor then the Nats healthy lineup in 2018 is ridiculously loaded :lmao:

Check the replay.    His foot was clearly in fair when he touched the ball.     For 65 plus years, I thought if you were in fair and touched the ball, it was fair.

In baseball, the foul lines apply only to the ball not the players.

That seems odd but then again ....  baseball's odd.

Youngster, I've thought the same. The line-drive had not touched the ground. Can an ump predict where it "would" have landed if the RF had not slapped it into foul territory?
