I'm probably a little bit younger, but his death hit me just as hard.  RC wlil  never be equaled.  A truly one of a kind man.  I wouldn't trade my autographed glove and the handsake for anything.    I'm glad we found common ground with the Nats.

The Nats relit the spark of baseball for me.    I was kind of not interested after '92 (Bream scoring).    We would yell at Clemente from the upper stands in right at Forbes.    He'd give us a wave.    That's my claim to fame with "the great one".     :)

Wonder what Perez had for dinner to upset the baseball universe.

Well if Mr. $200MM could get a quality start (or better) like Tanner last night against a trash team we'd need fewer. :stir:

Much the same with me,  Baseball has  for long never the same after RC.  Somehow  the Nationals reignited it for me.  It still isn't the same though, maybe the difference between being a kid fan and adult fan.  Right or  not , George Brett inspired some of the same feelings and I'm glad he got a ring.  I hope Bryce and Strass do as well.

Babe Ruth went back in time and wore #3 because MAT was his favorite player.

Also as much crap as we give Wieters, that tag was top notch. And Taylor himself has given Wieters props for his catches and tags on a lot of his assists.

Are they literally going to bring in every pinch hitter except Robles? I really wanted to see him tonight?
